Yes, it is yes that are i'm really excitedfor it to come out. Also, i just want to say john, thank you so much forhaving me on the show. I'm really really excited. We had some greatconversation you and i really really...

...hit it up, and it's great talking toyou but yeah. My book never be poor. Again. A guy to money is a spiritualpractice, comes out on july, sixteenth it'll, be on amazon, it'll, be on barnsand nobles. You can get the eat book on cobo and pretty much all the basicsites that you could find that one awesome- and you know it was reallyinteresting, because when we kind of mat over linkin- and you wereinterested in my book, you know build a life not of port olio, because iapproach things a little bit differently than most financialadvisers. In that i look at money and your portfolio is just one of the majortools in planning to build your best life and a lot of times. People getthat mixed up right, yeah. They think that money is the end game yeah. Howmany people do you know mathew that have all the money in the world and arecompletely miserable? Oh man, it's you know. I i say that all the time peopledon't understand the difference, it em being rich and being wealthy right tobe rich as to have abundance of money to be wealthy is to have an abundanceof time. You can have all the money in the world and no time to do anythingwith that money. Some people are so more poor that all they have is money exactly exactly so this that's whatthat's what we're all about here. You know build your life, not a portfoliobut matthew. Can you tell me a little bit about what it is that you dopersonally to help people? Yes, absolutely so i bridge the gap between people who haveno financial literacy and the next step. I am not the financial adviser, i'm notthe person who is going to tell you or tell you how to invest your money, although i know how to invest. I'm the person that's going to help you andguide you to his understand the importance of either starting your ownbusiness or investing, whether that be in stock market or cryptoconchoidal youor that means investing in other people whatever it is, but i'm bridging thatguy that i'm given the financial...

...literacy to understand the laws behindmoney, the simple, simple things that we need to know before you can even goand try to be rich. First, you have to be stable, and so, if you're in highschool, if you are an entrepreneur who hasn't started a business yet if you're,just starting a business, that's where i help you. I bridge that gap teach herto write a business plan. A marketing plan teach you the importance offinances, actually teach you what to do with your finances. How to manage youraccounts? How to understand what your net worth is. The fundamentals offinance. That's awesome! That is so that's abasic step that people tend to just sort of forget about, and you know oneof the interesting statistics that i always talked about is that there'sseventy five- and this has been sort of proven out as much as surveys can provethings that over or multiple surveys, roughly seventy five percent ofamericans have no financial plan and even more of them have no life plan, and i see the two really dove tailed tailing and what you do. Is you helppeople start thinking about thinking right thinking? Yes, i getting therefirst, just that first step just our first, you know something that we knowwe should get in get in high school and school. But thepoint is, we know they're, not teaching it to so stop blaming them. Yeah atthis point stop blaming them. We have to put it on ourselves, and so i findit interesting how many people are completely broke and never think tostudy money yeah. They say i want to learn the guitar and they lent learnedwith the guitar and they become a master. I want to learn how to sew, andthen they become a master dressmaker, yet they never want the. Thank you know.I probably should learn the laws behind money right. Exactly now me matthew. Iknow that you have. You were in the marines right ura, thank you or thatand and but you know, i'm thinking of...

...marines to teaching and and showingpeople about money. Why? Where did that? Come from? You know, there's a there's.A huge there is at the marine corps. Was that gap for me, so i grew up in ahood. You know i mean i grew up in pasek new jersey, patterson atures innewark, which is right next to new york, worn. You know right back and forth, traveling up to brooklyn and mat manhattan and stuff, and so i grew uparound crips and bloods and latin kings and stuff. I grew up around shoot, utsright. We did not learn about money. We did not learn any of that stuff. I andi wanted to get out of there and i wanted to get out of there sodesperately so desperately that i would have done anything, and so i remember istarted working at the brown stone, which was this amazing cateringrestaurant, that you know that weddings and barmitzvah and worked with politicians and stuff likethat, really really cool, show cool places that ended up with their own t vshow anyway, and so seeing this wealth seeing these people and saying i can'tlive like that, any more. I can't live like that, and so i just need to getout of here, and so i joined a ring co to get away from games. I joined thebiggest game. There is right and i was willing to die to get out of there, andso then i that whole time, though i had read rich at parda as a kid. My fatherhad me read that book when i was twelve years old, and so he had you know.Eighteen, i think, is when the secret came out. So then he immediately had meread that and he had me read drinking grow, rich and all these things. Sothese were all things i grew up with reading. Not many people got that right. What we called my million dollar library. My father gave me even thoughhe never went to high school. He had this library and so reading all thosebooks. I had this dissonance this dissidence and i was still poor and idid that amazing job and i was still broke and then i joined the ring coreand i was still broke and then i went and travelled the world and i was stillbroke and the one year i made like a hundred thousand dollars and i wasstill broke and i was just like what is going on and it was simple. It was myarrogance, not my poverty, keeping me poor. I recognized that...

...my poverty never did it. I was readingthe books, but i wasn't reading the intros i wasn't reading to conclusions.I was skipping over the exercises i was arrogant. I was only doing the stepsthat was been lying with my philosophies, my poor personsphilosophies and if there was a philosophy that made me go outside ofmy comfort one, i just skipped that i like that easy right for things. Youdon't agree with right, that's what we do, and so it hit me that it was myarrogance and that until i learned to follow the recipe that nothing wasgoing to happen, no matter how hard i try, you could be the biggest genius inthe world. Okay, you can't switch baking soda for sugar and expect a caketo appear there's a minimum recipe. There is a minimum recipe and then, after you understand therecipe, then you can make it a wedding, kick and a muffin and a cup cake. Youcan make a big and you can make a small you can make a blue. You can make itpink. You can make it look like nightmare on elm street. If you want it doesn'tmatter, you can make it literally look like anything, but you can't change thebasic formula and that's the formula that i wasn't following that mostpeople aren't following and that's a porten to understand before they evenget to you, the financial adviser, that's absolutely right! Yeah, and you know it's funny to you think aboutit. Pilots, right they go to a pit of plane. They teach you when you become apilot party, you getting. Your pilot's license is how to examine the plane andthey teach you to really you. They teach you to want to find a crack inthe plane they teach. You don't want to find something wrong when you do yourwalk around inspection, because until you get to that point, it's a reallydangerous thing to exactly. I lit your own. That is that's amazing. That's agreat way to look at things. I remyo know. I say it to my team. The firstthing i do is: there's always going to be an obstacle in a day right, there'salways going to be this challenge or...

...something there's always something goeswrong. So the first thing i do is, i say, hey guys: congratulations guesswhat we got our first obstacle to conquer today, yeah you know and thelike. Okay cool. We got our first puzzle, we have our first, you know, and we just start working on it, that we started. You know all right cool andnow it becomes this thing that we just work through and it's like. Okay, yeahit's an obstacle, but now it's a puzzle and it's an obstacle. That's going toget us further and we have to have that obstacle to think we're not going tohave the obstacle is absolutely insane right and and you you build your recipelike you were saying, and i call you know my my analogy- is a road map right, there's always going to be a detour. This is always going to be something anobstacle that comes up. But if you stay true to your map and your destinationand your plain and you're consistent, you got that mindst you'll get thereexactly. I love that you say road map, because another term i use is treasuremaps right. So you make you make a treasure. Matt e, better treasure matyou get into that treasure! No matter what you want to cross the bridge.Maybe the birch! Isn't there you think that's going to stop you! No, if youhave the treasure map, but if you don't have the treasure rap and you're likeoh yeah, i'm going to go, get that and then you go to the you're like i gotacross the bridge and bridges were i done you're like okay? I guess i can't get there. I guess ican't get there. It's just ow. I don't know how far the river goes that wayand that way and no rivers way too far. That way i don't know so it's a loteasier to quit in that moment, and so that's you're right. It's important tohave the road bad to have that church or that to have that recipe that poleto follow that. Frankly, a master spent ten sand hours figuring out in thefirst place, doing everything possibly wrong until you figure out oh man, ihave to do at least this, and so now we want to be arrogant, likei'm too smart for that, no we're not just not right yeah. I run into a lot of peoplethat are very successful that you know.

Then they are the right. They are supersmart, they're, very good at what they do their master at what they, but i always say that you know afootball in. My hands is worth about twenty twenty five bucks right. We putin drew breeze's hand out forty, eight million or so right yeah you do you putit in the hands of a master and, and it makes a huge difference exactly andthat any tool right. That's any tool, that's in the tool, you're right, exactly yeah, whether it's a pit brush or or a guitar a hammer doesn't matter. You know if you, if you're the person that becomes the master and a masterfor the people that don't know this is simply a person who masters thefundamentals. That's what an expert is right, the master, the fundamentals, that's what a master is. They take the fundamentals and they practice thoseover and over and over because those can't change theprincipals can't change and that's what i teach. I teach principles that can'tchange it. So it doesn't matter if you go to a financial adviser or cryptocurrency if it doesn't matter if you're thinking about for a long key you'rebuying a business you're going to know, principles and you're going to knowwhether it's a good choice or bad choice, because the principles aregoing to tell you yeah, that's right, hey before we get off the yet off theshow here matthew. Can you give us just give us an example, all the time whereyou've been able to make a significant difference in somebody's life throughwhat you you teach and what you do? Yes, you know i have a good friend of mine tria, who she was also a cook. She also is acoach. She teaches and she's just you know, phenomenal phenomenal teacher. The only thing was is just the organization of her account, so shehired me to do some simple, like teacher some classes and so her workingwith me. I think it was within three months. She immediately went became. You know started earning six figures...

...from four figures and i think yeah, i'mpretty sure it was like ninety days and she talks about all the time. She'salways talking about it. You know i'm just like, but it's all we did wasreally really simple things and it was just organization and the truth iseveryone knows these rules, i'm just going to show you the importance ofthem. I love it. You know, i love it. The thethe amount of difference is just huge. I yeah and it's just is usuallysomething different, simple to remove and then add back the fundamentals. Sothat is awesome.
